The Club provides a varied social bowling programme, from club competitions to friendly matches.
The club runs two kinds of competition: day events and seasonal. The former is played to a final on one day or over a weekend, while the latter run in stages throughout the season as successive rounds with semi-finals and a final.
On Ladies Day the men provide lunch, tea and refreshments while the ladies play a pairs competition.
During the season the club usually hosts four or five friendly matches against touring teams. There is an annual charity match to raise funds for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
The Umbrella is usually played on a Monday morning at 10.30 and is open to all members regardless of their skill level. Everyone is welcome to try the game. Please contact Tony Barlow for more information.
