Others see the partnership drawn from a hat. The Holes Trophy is an example. It was presented to the club by the Holes Brewery in 1962, the foundation year. This season’s winners were Jenna Earl and Bill Davison. The Ladies Synchro Pairs went to Jean Brown and Wendy Hooker. This is the day the men do the cooking.

In external competitions, Chris and Dave Hempsall won the City League Mixed Pairs.

All these achievements and other successes were celebrated on Presentation Night with much hilarity during the candlelight bowling and fish suppers enjoyed by all.
