The Bowls Lincolnshire team finished third, seven points behind Boultham Park. Although they won both or one of their games against every other teams, Hykeham’s fours missed out on enough rink points to catch up.
The District and Cliff league teams all ended up safely placed although the Cliff A players would agree that they found life in a higher division quite tough.
City Evening League saw Hykeham’s sole division winners this year as the team won by 38 points clear of Metheringham. Congratulations to Martin Scarbro, their captain, and all the players who did consistently well during the season.
